I moved here in 2011 thinking I was moving to a mostly professional, luxury complex - at least that's what I was told. The apartments look great, you have your own driveway & garage, nice tile flooring & granite (cheap pieces but still granite). Construction is horrible, insulation non-existent. I can hear everything that goes on in the apartments around me, including sex, fights, surround sound booming, stomping on the floor so hard my light fixtures rattle, & the upstairs toilet flushes through a side wall in my bedroom. This means I cannot go to sleep until everyone around me does - usually around 12:30 - 1 am. You need to know a second language to speak with the maintenance men who, by the way, do a crap job in repairing items. The grounds which never looked fantastic, look even worse now. During the 8" snowstorm, I was out shoveling my snow so I could get my car out of the garage & go to work. Funny, my lease states that driveways will be plowed as long as your car is in your garage. In closing, I agree with many of the recent posts - Dover Chase is nice to look at from the street, but I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an upscale, professional complex.
