This place has its ups and downs
Ups:
Its gorgeous.
Staff is perfect.
Washer/dryer is convenient.
Garage is convenient.
A decent distance from LBI
Downs:
The electric and gas is extremely expensive and the tall ceilings and poor insulation mean you have to put the air and heat up higher.
The water takes a long time to get warm.
You can hear your neighbors through the walls.
You aren't allowed to walk on the grass or play on the grass in YOUR OWN backyard (sorry kids).
The air and heating is obnoxiously loud, it sounds like a helicopter.
Kids play in the streets and aren't the nicest of children.
The addresses don't show up on Mapquest so if you order pizza/chinese/etc, they'll most likely call you to ask you how to explain where you live because they can't find it.
The amount of bugs is alarming.
The master shower is difficult to clean.
There is not much to do around town.
The mall is very far away (at least 40 minutes)
No parks nearby
All the other areas outside of the complex seem run down and trashy and '------'
There are no windows except in the bedroom and the sliding glass door to leave the patio
The patio screen door does not lock
You have to walk down the street to retrieve the mail
The rent is expensive considering what you get
Old neighbor used to play a drum set between 1 and 3 AM
Absolutely no work opportunities in the area
200 dollars per animal if you have pets
Unsupervised wooded area where people go in and do god knows what. It's supposed to be a running trail however, no one runs in it and it is practically the backyard of a section of some of the town homes
My advice is truly go over how much money you can spend every month depending on how easy or difficult coming up with at least 2,000 a month is, and compare it with the descriptions of Bartlett Landing and ask yourself if its worth it
