Maintenance personnel

I can’t say enough positive things about our amazing maintenance staff!! My refrigerator stopped working and they had to order parts. I came home from work to a note that the frig had to be replaced. The note indicated that he had to move ALL my food to the brand new frig… he even indicated he sanitized and wore gloves!!! I feel like I received 1st class service without having to ask for it. The maintenance staff is what keeps me at Riverwalk/ La Paz. They never disappoint!

    Pass this place by and just keep looking elsewhere. You will see reviews that indicate that the office staff are friendly or nice. If you will notice, those posts are from people that just signed a lease and just moved in. After you sign your lease.. you will not be treated kindly r with any manner of respect. You will get nasty “house mouse” reports regarding anything on your patio or balcony that one of the staff does not like. Numerous people have chicken wire and mesh fence on their balconies or patios. Mine is an actual privacy screen but because the office staff does not like it.. I am being harassed to remove it. Our lease agreement does not state you can’t have it. However, the staff quotes part of the lease that does state you cannot have towels, clothes, rugs hanging over you railing. So, I was advised we can have nothing on the railing. Which means everyone should remove their mesh and chicken wire as well. One person has a metal frame with chain link fencing attached.. but that is okay. The office focuses on petty things like your patio or balcony... yet we have numerous security lights attached to the buildings which have been out for almost a year. In addition, many of the sidewalks are crumbing or uneven and pose a hazard. But let’s focus on people’s patios or balconies instead. I can guarantee with absolute certainty.. you will regret moving here. Within a matter of months.. there will be --- office staff to deal with. One resident simply went to check her mail after she moved in only to discover the Mail key didn’t work. Oh, the office person made a mistake. The second time... key still didn’t work.. nor the third time nor the fourth time. Instead of focusing on residents and their needs... they choose to harass residents and change rules to suit their own agenda or opinions. Save yourself the frustration... find another place.

    Numerous stolen cars, stolen property, cheap appliances, half the electrical outlets in apartments don't work, bathrooms are outdated, toilets are awful, stairwells are dirty, mailboxes get stolen among other things

      I gave the office staff 5 stars because Gina the manager took the time to make things right. She called me immediately and we were able to come to a reasonable agreement. The property is in a great location and my pets love it here.
