Resident 2013

4/23/2013

I lived at these apartments several years ago and moved back in October 2012. When I moved in I didn't find out until the night before I was set to move in that the apartment was a handicapped apartment, so I would have no lower cabinets in the kitchen, no storage at all in the bathroom, and the closet was half shelves. My rent was not discounted (like at most apartments) because it was handicapped either. There were several items that needed to be fixed upon move in - the major one being that the clothing rack was hung about 3 feet off the ground and needed to be raised. That alone took them almost a week to fix, the rest of the issues never were fixed and some I fixed myself the rest I let go. Now I am having problems with my a/c, it has been 3 1/2 weeks since it started. Not only do they not seem to know how to fix it, but their attitude is that not only do they not care but they think that I am making it up. It is so frustrating to be treated this way. I have NEVER at any of the dozens of apartments I've lived in had maintenance that was soooo bad. And the sad thing is, this is supposed to be a "luxury" apartment complex. What I have experienced dealing with their staff and maintenance is far from luxurious. Save yourself the aggravation and live somewhere else!!! Trust me on this!
