STAY AWAY!! I am an current resident of Kaleidoscope. In all of my years of renting i've never come across as terrible as this management. If you're looking for a new place to stay, and reviews helps you decide if you should or not, I recommend that YOU DO NOT CONSIDER this place as an option. I'll even be happy to give you a PERSONAL tour to see what they've failed to do and show my copy of the lease and bills from THEM, along with all notices and violation notices to see what kind of people these are. As potential renter, they'll kiss --- and make everything look amazing, Their model unit is not remotely the same as any other units. What they failed to mention even after paying the application fees, Is they charge literally for EVERYTHING, They have valet trash service ($25/mo) , which is a 3rd party company that has people pick up trashes from your door and take it to the dumpster, This is MANDATORY fee, not an option even if i'm right by the dumpster. And on top of that, They charge for trash fee from the dumpster. So the trash alone doubled to around $50 per month. They charge "community fee" which provides lighting for the parking lot and such, Here's the catcher.. They don't have the lights on half the time as soon the sun goes down. They charge mandatory cable fee of $45 a month from Cox, and you'll only get BASIC cable, worse thing about this is, they don't even provide a small cable box to watch the cable, You'd have to get it from Cox. More fees, I tried to get ultimate cable, they said they can give it to me but i'd have to pay directly to Cox along with equipment and STILL pay that $45 fee monthly. They're nickle and diming EVERYTHING. Also they have fees that residents pay to use pool, and the small gym. And half of the time pool is dirty or closed and they don't even credit any of resident for the closures. They've also shut off water for a day several times, Claiming repair work and when they shut it off i'd go looking around to see if there is actual repair work and i did NOT find anyone doing repairs that required the complex to shut off the water, they do not credit for this either and still charge you for water usage even if you didnt use any for a day. They have pest charges monthly as well and they never came to my unit once to spray down to keep the pests away, i do not have bug problems though, but i'm still paying for it. As for the previous reviews, They're right. The security guard is a joke, literally does nothing but sit in the gym use the phone and charge it there and she only walks forward and back on 1 street from what i've seen. Can't even use the gym because most nights there is a group of teenager sitting outside smoking weed then going inside the gym and getting stupid with the equipment and i'm afraid they'll injure me or try to rob me as they get rowdy sometimes.
