Resident 2014 - 2015

5/2/2015

This apartment complex, along with Conam Property Management, truly does not care about their residents. Pay careful attention or they will scam money from you. When I filled out my application, I requested a ten month lease. Reno Villas and I agreed on that. I have emails from their online lease portal that state "lease term: 10 months" and other documents that I signed upon moving in that state the same thing. However, the person who typed up my actual lease (possibly Brandy Wells) typed in 11 months. The flurry of paperwork in conjunction with the fact that I had driven for three days from Detroit to Vegas, must have caused me to be so fatigued that I overlooked this "typo" or SCAM. When I finally arrived in Vegas, I rushed to make it to Reno Villas on time to sign the lease and get the keys before the office closed because I couldn't afford another motel room. I arrived at 4:30, exhausted. Because I was exhausted, and the very first document I signed stated "10 months," I overlooked the discrepancy on the lease. When I realized this discrepancy months later, I went to the leasing office. Although sympathetic, they claimed there was nothing they could do, which is absolutely untrue. The manager also claimed that this has happened before, which leads me to believe it was more than just a mere typo. Proceed with caution here and if you can, take your hard-earned money and decency elsewhere.
