Silver Ridge Apartments

We moved to Silver Ridge from another apartment complex that is going condominium. We were attracted by the nice gym area and heated pool and the way the units looked. The individual who worked with us and showed us the units was very friendly, helpful, and shared her experience living in the units. We have been apartment dwellers for over 20 years and I also do apartment monitorings for my job. The units are nice and well-kept. The parking is more than adequate. Some resdients may not be happy that they do not assign parking spaces, but for those of us who abide by the number of cars allowed, it has been no problem at all. The expectation of some who want three or four spaces for their cars/trucks is unreasonable. The units are quiet, although once in a while a neighbor may have a party and some noise can be heard, but no more than would be expected if these were individuals homes. Often I find that it is not the apartment complex, but the residents who make or break the apartment living experience. The units allow pets, including large dogs. The pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals and nearly everyone complies. The complex keeps an eye on this also and provides "potty bags" for those who walk their dogs. It's amazing that we don't hear dogs barking in the complex because most people appear to have at least one pet, and usually dogs. We had only one maitenance issue when we moved in and the complex was at our door almost immediately to fix the minor problem. The area is convenient to shopping, a park, and public transportation.
