I'll try to cover everything! The laundry, it's cheap, but for the price, I think they can afford to include it in the rent, which I believe is WAY overpriced. Storage is really great. I have lots of closet space, and a storage space in the basement that is locked. The size of the apartment is a perfect size for me, or a couple. The parquet flooring is old, probably from when they were first built. There is large spaces between them, and it's hard to sweep the floors with out dirt and crumbs getting brushed into the cracks. The walls, molding and doors and so over painted that my cabinets in the kitchen don't close. My bathroom door was so over painted that I got stuck in it about once a day for a week for 2-3 hrs when i first moved in, now I don't even close the door all the way. The windows are singed paned, and it's VERY cold in the winter. My only new window is in the kitchen, and it leaks when it rains. Three people have moved out of my building in the past month. The hallways echo, the building door slams no matter how gentle you close it. the aapartments echo too, I don't care how many rugs or window treatments you have, it bad! the grounds are nice, but the constant uneeded upkeep on them is annoying. they seem to allow familys to move into one bedrooms, which I get the economic times, but it is annoying when the building echo and babys cry at 3 am and you have to get up in two hrs. They could deffinitly find a two bedroom for cheaper than a one bedroom here, and probably nicer. EVERYTHING needs updating. If you are a young female, beware!!! Maintance is rude and will try to pick you up, and yes, make tongue movements at you. It's distgusting. I make sure I come home AFTER they leave, that's how bad it is. There is no parking where my building is, so I usually have to park somewhere else and walk. They should have priority parking, because the lady above me always has people over and they take up the parking. The buildings are super super safe, and I love the security, I would love it more if the intercoms worked. My king bed wouldnt fit in the bedroom for those who are wondering. The fireplaces are working, but when someone else uses them in the building, your apartment fills with smoke. I have had a few critters! If you have pets it's an extra $50 a month per pet. So for a one bed, one bath house, with two pets, it's $1065 plus electric & cable. My bills are about $1350 a month just to live here. Find a better place to live, and save your money. Can't wait till my lease is up!
