Campus Manor Apartments

Don't bother with this place...it looks nice at first, but nothing is as advertised. It claims to be "pet friendly" but doesn't provide any garbage cans to pick up pet waste, so no one does. Even if you don't own a dog you still get the privilege of dodging their poo every time you go outside. Parking is a nightmare, there isn't actually enough off-street parking provided for all of the residents who live here so if you want to avoid a ticket or be courteous to plows its a 1-2 block hike to get to and from your car (usually in the wind and snow, this is Buffalo, after all). If you try to fit your car in a closer lot after all of the pre-drawn spaces are full, Campus Manor will vandalise your car with a giant neon green sticker on the driver window. Those are a fun surprise in the morning on your way to work, and almost impossible to get off completely. Each building has a total of 4 apartments and I can hear my neighbors constantly. They're not loud people, the walls are just thin and it sounds like something is about to come crashing through the ceiling every time they walk. The kitchen was never actually designed to be cooked in...you realize that immediately on move in day when you unpack a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker and then realize there isn't enough counter space for all 3 let alone room to prepare food afterward. And I'm paying an extra $20 a month for the floor plan with a bigger kitchen too. The bathroom is even worse, it barely has enough room for the door to open and close. Also, the basement floods, I've heard that about just about every building. Each unit has an extra storage room down there but its not a place you'd want to keep anything that can't get wet. Overall I feel like home should be a nice place to come back to every day, but if you sign a lease with Campus Manor you're paying for an overpriced apartment and a guaranteed series of annoyances every day. Don't bother.
