Campus Manor Apartments
Resident · 2013 - 2014
I have lived at Campus Manor for a little over a year now and I love it. I moved here because of the highly rated school district, proximity to the thruway, and the price. In the time that I have been here, I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of the office staff. They have always been very kind and helpful to me and to my children - and they have made our transition from house to apartment much easier than I expected. I have also been thrilled with the maintenance staff. I have only had a couple of work orders and they have responded in what I consider a reasonable time. They have handled the work orders professionally and thoroughly. During this winter, we have been bombarded with snow and I have been impressed many times with how well the maintenance staff has handled the snow clean-up and salting. They are out very early in the morning and work until the snow is cleared - I have witnessed on a few occasions the maintenance staff working literally around the clock to make sure the sidewalks and parking lots are clear and safe for all of the residents. Additionally, in response to the last post about the apartments "not being refurbished", well, I am not sure what he is talking about. My apartment is beautiful. The cabinets and appliances that they are installing in renovated apartments are very nice quality - I get compliments on my kitchen every time someone new comes to visit! The carpeting is good quality and has proven to be relatively stain resistant. In the last year, they have also been doing electrical upgrades (new outlets in most rooms and GFI outlets in the bathroom and kitchen) and they have also been installing air conditioning. It is obvious that the management/maintenance staff/owners take pride in their property and are investing a lot of time and money into making it even better. I have loved my time at Campus Manor. It is a wonderful place to call "home".
