Hello All, I lived in the Bayside Manor Park Apartments for two years from 2017-2019. To be specific I lived at the 42-40 212th street location. I lived in a small studio for about 1400 per month. For me- the apartment hit everything I needed. 1. It is across the street from the train and I worked in Manhattan 2. It was inexpensive 3. It was two blocks away from Bell Blvd (restaurants, bars, entertainment, busses) and about a mile from the Bay Terrace shopping center. Moving in- I knew that it wasn't the most beautiful building in the world but I was okay with that. I got lucky and had normal neighbors. The walls are thin and once a month my neighbor would have some friends over and I could literally hear what they were talking about but I would connect my bluetooth headphones to my TV and I wouldn't hear them anymore. I did not have an issue with Roaches/Mice. I would see maybe 4 water bugs a year but to be honest that is not the building's fault and they are attracted to water and not dirt. *I think a big part of living in an apartment is your neighbors (especially the neighbor upstairs). The building itself is fine. The front door is locked, my building was quiet and I didn't have any big issues in the two years I was there. I am a 32 year old male professional that was looking for an inexpensive place to live while I commuted into the city for 2 years. For the money- 1400 to live a block away from a train station and Bell, it was worth it. I feel sorry for all of the people that are not enjoying their stay especially due to unhelpful and mean neighbors.
