The main entrance for building 2 takes you on a sidewalk past garbage containers - which are obviously unattractive. Also, in the winter, the sidewalk is poorly maintained - dangerously covered in ice or littered with garbage spillover. During the time I have been here, I have been required to completely empty the kitchen and bathroom and living room floor so that Avalon could renovate (with, e.g. fake wood floors); note that NO rent rebate was given. Noise is a serious problem - construction, crying babies, screaming toddlers. Underground parking is available, but beware that crud sometimes drops from the ceiling onto cars. also, sometimes the doors are left open; burglaries from the cars have been reported. The staff members seem nice, but as a living experience in an upscale Westchester village, this is about as bad as it gets.
The only good thing about this property is its proximity to the train station.
Looking forward to moving out at the end of my lease.
