I have lived in those apartments for two years and I can tell all the good things and bad things about them. The good thing is it's in a good place good location and it's relatively cheap. I would never ever go back to this apartment though because of the Trumatic experiences I have had. I had to contact the manager multiple times because of the temperature of about 50 in my apartment! I had to stay in my heavy clothes and sweater inside the apartment because the heating system that they claimed they are responsible for was not working for about two weeks. That happens multiple times last winter. I actually got a thermometer and took pictures of my very low temperature and sent it to the manager. Yet it took them so much time to fix it. Another Trumatic experience was when I got back from a vacation and I saw the ceiling of my bathrooms socked with the sink water. Obviously was dirty water and was coming from the apartment above me. My bathroom was flooded with such dirty water that had pee in it! It took them about a week to fix it and guess what that happened again after few months. Moreover, I had a reserved parking spot with the gate was frozen one time so they had to force open it and keep it open. The private parking lot of the building acted as common parking lot that each and every body could use and when I went to go back in the middle of the night of course with all the snow that's covering the streets I couldn't find a parking lot spot in the building's parking lot which I'm supposed to have a reserved Spot in. Simply because everybody used it as they never fix the gate and left it open. I know that happens but after sending about five emails it took them three weeks to fix the gate. The building is very old and that's a fact. That's why you're not paying that much for your rent. HOWEVER, and that's a big one, the manager is so slow and careless responding to your emails. They never do maintenance to the buildings which is so bad. Let alone the miscommunication between those who work in the leasing office. I had to call them multiple times to change my smoke detector because the battery was dead and every time I called it was as if I was calling for the first time. Whenever I had to fix something like the Internet or anything that requires access to the basement, I called them multiple times to gain access to the basement and it was such a pain in the neck. It wase awful experience and I would never go back again. I have never seen such a bad service and a bad management as the management I had to deal with when I rented those apartments. Definitely would pay more to live restfully and not have to worry about simple things related to my basic life's needs. P.S they might have increased the prices by the way!
