I lived here for almost a year. Before we moved here we visited most of Albany complexes. For what we are paying, I believe it is one of the best. It offers a nice area to walk around and it is in the middle between clifton park, Latham, and Albany downtown. If you are planning to drive to colony daily, probably it is not the best area to live in.
We had two maintenance issue, one was replacing the screens due to holes. We ware scheduled after 20 days and its been 8 month and no one looked at it. The second issue, the A/C went down and they came the next day, he was unable to fix it and he called an A/C company who fixed it the next day. The management stuff was changed recently, 2 month ago. Same management but different people.
Compared to other complexes that is the river you can not beet the price.
Summary, If you value the fact that this complex is on the river and you like being near a state park and you cannot afford to pay more, this is a place for you. Otherwise you could find a larger apartments, sq-ft, at the same price at guilderland.
