Resident 2010 Not Recommended
Reviewed 12/15/2010
I have lived in Park Lane for less then a year and I will not be renewing my lease. The apartments are not updated at all, after a few days of living in the apartment I notices a dingy odor coming from the carpets, the stove top does not heat on half the burners, the tub has mold all over the tile&the exhaust fan fell out of the ceiling. When it is windy the apartment lost power, rain links in creating mold on the window sill, the heat does not work well its either cold or too hot. And the AC unit is in the living room so forget being comfortable in the summer in the bedroom. The neighbors like to sit outside drinking from dawn until dusk and rev up there sports car in the garage all day. The icing on the cake was the recent snow storm that has left us living with our parents because the ceiling in the living room has linked to the point of soaking the disgusting carpet all the way up to the door causing mold and uninhabitable living conditions. The ceiling is bowing from the weight of the water and the blinds have collapsed. In the bedroom the same problem has occurred and water is also leaking into the closet!! We informed them the day after the storm hit,9 days ago and a maintenance man showed up saying they did there job of getting the leak to stop, the leasing agent said they would call us on Monday and have someone STEAM CLEAN the carpet! I have yet to receive a phone call, thankfully a state builder inspector showed up today to say the apartment will be receiving a letter.
