Astoria Towers Apartments
Resident · 2012 - 2015
When this building was first built the owner had a full professional staff with professional tenants. There was security and management had worked on site to ensure that the building was cleaned and to assist tenants with their concerns. Over the years the owner must have gone to the bottom of the barrel with their staff and their selection of tenants. The building common areas is dirty and it takes days for the building to be cleaned. Just today, management had decided to shame their tenants who are unable to make rental payments by placing a list in the common area of the building of what each floor owes. Did I mention that those tenants are receiving government subsidy for DRIE and SCRIE. I had believe that is harassment and against the law a matter which will be reviewed by NYC housing court and government officials. I do not recommend persons to rent from Astoria Towers but I do recommend that the existing tenants to file a class action lawsuit against the Owner Mr. Pagano and the managerial staff.
