I have lived at Saratoga Heritage for over two years; it has been nothing but a good experience. The property manager, Joyce, is not always in an enviable position, but I truly believe she cares about the well-being of the residents in this community. She fosters a supportive, collaborative atmosphere and I believe her ultimate objective is that everyone feels as if it is their home; not your typical apartment community where you're besieged by rules and regulations. She encourages everyone to participate and attend the community activities, but at the same time, does not pressure or judge you if you choose not to partake. The community is a blend of families, single and married professionals and retirees. She treats everyone as one in the same and goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is safe and secure, especially our elderly residents. I have found most people here to be approachable and friendly; sometimes you have to initiate a conversation, not too difficult. I have never seen anyone scream at anyone at the pool, the rules are in place for safety purposes as they are everywhere. Maintenance is outstanding, I can't say enough about them. As far as construction, well it's not perfect and I have yet to live anywhere that is. I've lived in several communities with clubhouses; they were never available after hours (unless you specifically rented the space for an event). If you are considering a move to Saratoga Heritage, it would be in your best interest to stop by, talk to Joyce and form your own opinion. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Put yourself in her shoes for a moment or two, would you be able to step in and juggle the wants, needs and whims of a few hundred people... It's no picnic, but she seems to manage it with grace and aplomb.
