Country Glenn is by no means a luxury apartment. There is no basketball court as advertised online; maybe it's coming; I'm not sure, but it's not here. Their office hours are a joke. They barely meet them. More than half of the time, whenever I head to the office to load a laundry card to do my laundry, they're closed or closing early. If an office tells you or advertises that they are open until 6 pm on a week day, and you arrive at 5 pm, and they're giving you push back because they're trying to lock up early, how is that good business? If they were going to be unreliable for office hours, you would think that they would make the laundry reload station more available to their tenants, wouldn't you? Also, their business practices make no sense whatsoever. If a current tenant wants to upgrade an apartment for size, did you know that you have to be put on a waiting list to see if someone else from the street who's not yet a customer will rent it first? Yeah; I've been on that waiting list for a year now; and there are more than one available. How ridiculous is that?! While Country Glenn is a great place to live; depending on your needs, family size; etc. It depends on your availability too. If you work a 8-4 or 9-5; you'll never be able to do your laundry on site; if you're unable to load your laundry card. There are no updated appliances in any of the laundry facility. You're lucky if you have working appliances. They have weird odors to them, so hopefully by the time you've completed your laundry, it smells fresh. It meets its purpose (mostly) I'm not on here just to jab them, but there are certain things I look for when renting, and they've become more and more disappointing over the three years I've been here. Their pool hours - used to be flexible; but those have changed, and not for the better either. However, if you're paying for pool maintenance for a pool you do not get to use; that's poor business practice. The size of the apartments for the most part are a bang for the buck. Appliances are included in most if not all apartments/townhomes. Pets are welcome but it's a hefty deposit plus monthly pet rent varying depending on how many and what type of pet you have. Whenever we've contacted the office for maintenance, they've come within a couple of days to resolve an issue. Overall, Country Glenn fits my needs, and my budget. At least for now. :) They're not environmentally friendly- there is no recycling or sharing boxes with fellow tenants. Parking lots aren't salted. Beware walking. The parking lots are uneven too; don't trip and fall. That could potentially be a huge law suit though. Good luck in your search for a home!
