While I have not had any problems with management (they've always been nice to me), I do agree with many of the negative opinions already expressed here. The place really is built out of crap materials and things do break very easily. Also, from the day I moved in my apartment always had a lingering smell that I could not place. It wasn't horrible, just weird. I've heard of other people here that have the same problem.
Noise is a constant problem. The walls are extremely thin so you will hear people talking (even at a normal volume) next door and downstairs. It's much worse if your neighbors are actually being excessively loud. It feels like you're living in their apartment. Also, you will hear people going up and down the stairs all the time. It's really not a pleasant environment so don't expect to sleep or get any work done here.
The 'balcony' is a joke. It's actually a fire escape (made out of flimsy wood, interestingly) that is shared with the apartment next door. This means that your neighbors often hang out right outside of your window, which makes privacy nonexistent.
I should say that the grounds are maintained very well and that there are always plenty of spaces available in the parking lot. The shuttle drivers are also very nice, so I guess they are different than those described in earlier reviews. But these are really the only virtues that this place has going for itself.
