The apartments here aren't bad for the price. But they're not great either. I moved in to exposed electrical outlets, missing doorknobs, and dead lightbulbs (Which were "my responsibility to replace"). When I moved in during the summer, the AC didn't work- the solution was to replace the thermostat. In the winter, the heat didn't work- replaced the thermostat again. In the following summer, the AC didn't work- thermostat got replaced again. When it started getting warm it smelled like several animals had died within the walls. Laundry is almost $2/load, and many of the machines are frequently out of order (or worse, broken and NOT labeled as such). The maintenance guy changed the phone number and didn't tell the residents. Walls are paper thin (I could hear my neighbor showering from my bedroom).
On the plus side, you'll never have to worry about parking, though it isn't very well lit.
