Horrible experience as a prospective tenant stay away, most positive reviews must be fraudulent just like the staff at southpoint. Charging a non-refundable security deposit before application is approved and all questions are answered is a perfect money scheme for them, red flag right there since no other apartment complex does that. Ignored emails asking to clarify other concerning reviews we saw, never received any answer but someone approved our application in the meantime so they could get their money (answered previous emails quickly & efficiently what a surprise). Received a phone call after stating we weren't moving forward & we never signed a lease from "verizon fios" which ended up being a staff member from the management team at southpoint, not sure what their endgame was with that. A+ acting for the leasing agent though, really selling the "community" which ends up being majority low-income, special needs which brings weekly visits from the NCPD, psych transfers, drugs, domestic violence, etc. They don't let you see any apartment other than their display, so god knows what the actual insides look like. We should of followed our gut instinct and not of fallen for the great acting skills of the leasing agent, at least we only lost the non-refundable deposit & found out before signing a lease & hopefully this review can prevent some of you from doing the same.
