Today I woke up to cold water in my apartment. My wife went to the manager's office and it was closed for the holiday. Therefore, I called the answering service and asked that someone come out to fix the problem (I spent over an hour trying to fix the hot water heater myself). Twice I was told - by the rudest, most uncaring individuals - that my problem did not meet their criterion. Therefore, I have to go for the next 3 days - Saturday, Sunday and Monday at least - without showering or at least without showering with what I consider to be tolerable water.
I asked Jason - from their answering service - to call the person anyway and he said, "Listen, I am not going to lose my job for you, buddy." So, obviously, the unit has given instructions that under no circumstances are service calls to be honored.
However, tonight I received a very nice call from the complex manager and she apologized for the answering service. Also, someone did come out to fix the heat on the water heater (and, showed me the "trick" for doing it myself in the future). So, overall I am very pleased with Regency Club, just not with the answering service!
