Resident • 2006 - 2007 Not Recommended
I moved into this building in 2006 for a rent of $2550 for a one bedroom. When my lease came due the new rent was $3000. This is a 17% increase. I know that the City has a tight rental market, but the average rent increase for the Upper West Side was 6 - 7%. My broker researched a couple other similar buildings and confirmed that the Hudson Park increase was a significant outlier. I stayed because the cost of another broker fee and mover fees was more expensive than staying one more year but I can not wait to leave. As other postings have noted there is tremendous staff turnover. I have lived in two other doorman buildings in which there was no turnover for years of any of the staff. Here, all but one of the conciege staff have disappeared since I moved in yet the tenants are never informed of even the names of the new people. Overall, a very disappointing living environment.
