The current building manager/ or managers seem to be the problem with this building. One doesn't seem to know what the other is doing, not that it matters much, neither want to do much of anything. It's almost comical, unless your the one in their crossfire. On the bright side, the doormen and concierge personalities are what keep me in this building and the few times I had a maintenance issue it was handled within the hour. I would like to have my windows cleaned as they haven't been cleaned since I have lived there, but that falls on the deaf ears of management. The building itself is beautiful, but as I am only there around 10 nights out of the month due to work, I'm still not sure if it is just an upscale pound or a building for people. It seems everyone but myself owns at least two dogs. The building smells like a wet dog, so if you enjoy this smell and do not have allergies you are in great air quality! Outside the building is sprayed down with water a number of times per day due to the sidewalks and grounds are constantly being covered with dog pee and crap. Again, the smell in the heated summer months is only good as long as you keep vicks under your own nostrils. The garden grounds again are for the dogs. The sign that reads No dogs on the grass would be better advertised as No Humans on the Grass. It too is polluted with dog crap. There is an up charge for every amenity in this building, from the pool to the gym to the whatever else they offer. I stopped listening after that. This building is billed as one of the best in the city therefore I will continue to live here as long as I work from here. I am not originally from New York and if this is the best it gets I'm afraid to take my chances elsewhere. Over all, people are quiet, the staff you are in contact with dailey are pleasant and apparently if you have dogs, one or many you are their first choice to rent to!!
