I lived in Silver Towers over an year. There has been some up and downs so letâ??s do an old-fashioned list of pros and cons: Pros: Nice Building Amazing concierge staff (wish I could take them with me to the new building) Great Amenities ( sauna, pool, gym - of course you have to pay some extra to access these) Cons: Management is incompetent with attitude problems. Some people who live in the building are ------. AC is so loud - as well as the apartments facing down 11th ave & 42nd street (lincoln tunnel traffic) Management does shady deals for some residents, some of them pay â??preferred rentâ?? and some almost a double. Tons of escorts lives in the building or visits their customers Management is unprofessional and shows the true colors when renewing the lease (whopping 900 dollars more than last year.) Management treats doormen & concierge like @^&* So all in all - Silver Towersâ?? main problem is the management. I have nothing bad to say about the staff, the building inself (itâ??s not woth of 3200 though) but I have a big A#S problem with the mgmt. Do not waste your money or time in here - you get better deal somewhere else. Itâ??s noisy, itâ??s far from everything and you just get a bad taste in mouth after dealing with the mgmt.
