I have been a resident here for about 2 years now, and I have to admit, I have had so many problems with this place that it seems comical at times. Why did my husband make a breakfast run from the 9th floor loungeSee More >

The management/leasing office & resident services staff is very unprofessional. They treat you like they are doing a big favor by even talking to you. Was not worth the money and I so regretted moving into The Helena. I was a former tenant and vacatedSee More >

The Helena has ventilation problems. If next door neighbor smokes, you'll smell smoke in your apt. Same for cooking odors. Complaints denied by management with "No one else complains." Office can be nasty. Front desk but NO DOORMAN to help with packages, etc. OnSee More >

I'm one of the "foreigners" that one reviewer had complained about. The building does have a large number of expats who work in midtown. We chose the apartment that faces the river and the view is stunning. The people who complain of noise must be living facing theSee More >

the apartments are noisy from the air conditioning and the heat. you can also smell things in your apartment. it is a green building which should not allow smoke but it does. i cannot wait for my lease to expire and move.

I have lived in this building since its opening and love the clean, green apartment, the large windows with river views, the roof deck, the access to Riverside Park. The A/C units are a disaster as they switch on/off with a very loud clickSee More >

Have been very happy living here. Building is nice, upgrade of amenities in progress. Very fair on reducing rent renewal price due to pandemic. Excellent management with little turnover. Generally responsive to repair requests. Location near river is great but bit of walk to subways.

I absolutely love living at Helena. The personnel who work at the building are extremely helpful. The easy access to the Hudson River and the overall sense of calmness in the neighborhood is what attracted me to Helena.
