I don't understand what the previous poster was complaining about. I lived at Cornhill Landing for 2 years and was extremely happy there. The apartments are brand-new, very nice inside (had my own washer/dryer, central A/C, spacious balcony). The grounds are also very nice and well-maintained. sure, there are pets, but there are pets everywhere. The downtown location (just down the street from Dinosaur BBQ) is a big plus, too. The complex is right on the river, so you can walk along the river anytime, which is very relaxing.
The office manager/staff was also top-notch! The staff was always extremely nice and helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. Again, I have no idea was the previous poster was referring to.
In summary, I loved everything about living at Cornhill Landing. Sure, it's a little more expensive than your typical apartment in Rochester, but I believe it was well worth it. My apartment there was the best apartment I've ever lived in, and would recommend it strongly to anyone who asks.
P.S. The fitness center was also great - brand-new equipment, LCD TV's. Parking was a breeze (I never had any problems in 2 years). And for the record, I am NOT affiliated with management -- just a very satisfied former tenant.
