I've lived at Holyoke (now called Greece Commons) for 1.5 years now. The place was fine at first, but then it all went down hill. I found out that there was brutal murder at the apartments not long before I moved in. I had a neighbor who burst into my apartment screaming about demons until we called the police. Who, by the way frequent the area due to the mass amounts of phone calls they receive. There's always domestic disputes happening, fights breaking out, crazy people (my neighbor had to be mental health arrested- and it wasn't the first time it had happened.). There are always kids running around outside with no parents watching them, they throw things at your car, vandalize your car and are generally terrible to deal with. People are always playing loud music, either in the apartment (so loud it's knocked things off my walls) or when driving through they blast it so loud they could wake the dead (at 4 in the morning no less). People have no respect for you or your things, they are a lot of thefts, a lot of break ins and a lot of irresponsibility. The majority of the tenants here are trashy low life people who will run you over if they think it will be useful to them. They second my lease goes up, I'm out of here. The management is very nice to us, they always help me out if I have an issue with someone or if I need something fixed. If it weren't for the tenants here this could be a very nice place. Unfortunately it's affordable for people who are scummy a-holes as well. So I wouldn't recommend living here unless you like being frustrated and scared of everyone else who lives there.
