Resident 2010 - 2012

9/24/2013

It was alright I guess while I was living there. The places are filled with cheap ikea crap that breaks all the time and they charge outrageous prices for repairs and replacements. It is noisy almost all the time. The bus routes to campus were great and there was plenty of free parking. The grounds are absolutely COVERED in bird crap 24/7. Just absolutely covered. The area was very safe and well lit and there are blue light call boxes all over the place. Maintenance was half-assed at best. The staff was friendly enough and they had free food for the tenants every once in a while. Overall I would get a place off campus if you have a car, or get a RIT apartment after your first year. Also when you move out make sure you get something in writing, one of these morons tried to scam me for like 900$ two and a half years after I moved out with a zero balance
