BE WARNED! WATCH OUT!! Stay away!!!
These owners are sly and deceitful, and after you sign the lease, they don't return calls and refuse to sign further documentation of any sort, even if changes are made to the original contract. I paid $600 security deposit, $11 more than the signed lease agreement security deposit of $589.00, yet when I requested the contract be changed accordingly, Joe refused to make the change on my contract, saying that they have taken note of such changes and that the verbal agreement is sufficient and acceptable to them. When I gave them 6 weeks notice, Mary Ann stated that verbal notification was good enough, yet she refuses to return my security deposit because I did not give notice in writing, as per #15 in the lease agreement. And of course, she denies any verbal agreement made. And you guessed it, they kept the full $600, didn't even return the extra $11 I had paid)
This seems to be Mr. & Mrs. Conti's modus operandi. They refuse to sign anything for my safety, but will hold you their written and signed requirements. This allows them to take advantage of their tenants if given the slightest opportunity. And believe me they will.
I have all the documents to prove what I am saying. Their response is "sue me" You really don't want anything to do with these DISHONEST and UNSCRUPULOUS owners - stay away from them!!
