I lived at Columbia Courts my Junior year and had a really good experience so my (two) roommates and I decided to live here again this year. This year has been a lot less awesome. Positives: the walk to campus is about six minutes, maintenance, free parking, free (fast) wireless internet, fairly new carpet and tile, moderately sized bedrooms, lots of closet space, comes furnished (not all units), and a pretty good price (typically $300-350/person a month, depending on the season). Negatives: drafty living room and front bedroom, snow removal is very tough so the parking lots are usually pretty messy, the office staff can be rude sometimes but are usually very helpful, and limited parking on the weekends. The worst part about CC are the loud neighbors. There are always loud parties and people Thursday-Saturday (and occasionally other days of the week). But if you party a lot or don't mind loud, obnoxious parties, then this place is perfect for you. The walls seem kind of thin at times and sometimes I can hear my neighbors but that isn't really a big deal. I would suggest living on the top floor, if possible. On the whole, I wouldn't live here again, but it's not unlivable. Good luck!
