Wrong place, wrong time.
This was my first apartment, and I have to say, I was pretty pleased with the space and layout in my one bedroom. I think the kitchens need to be updated, and the carpet and flooring in my apartment were horrible when I moved in. I never had to call maintenance, but a lot of things in my apartment were "fixed" in a very lousy fashion. Someone sprayed a layer of beige spray paint over my stove top and counters to cover up old stains instead of replacing or cleaning the areas. Just small things like that. My biggest issue was one of my neighbors. She must have slipped through the cracks when they were accepting people into the building. It started with loud and violent late night domestic disputes in the parking lot outside the building with her boyfriend, then there was the screaming in the hallways, stomping up and down three flights of stairs, double parking, speeding through the parking lot, and slamming the fire doors in the building as well as her own door just to get a rise out of people because it shakes the whole building. She has repeatedly broken the main door into the building preventing it to lock. Not to mention banging on the walls whenever she's mad. All of this and more that I cannot state for my own safety seeing as the cops were called. I have gone to management and they always make me feel really good for the time being, but I still haven't seen that any steps are being made to ensure the safety of the loyal residents of this building. I used to feel safe in this complex, I used to recommend it wholeheartedly. I'm sure that if the one neighbor I mentioned was taken out of the picture, things would be peaceful again and I could go back to enjoying life here at Clearbrooke, but until they do something about this problem this whole complex is probably unsafe for anyone.Share This Review
