Respectfully to Alexander89, Yes, your father's car was towed, by the City parking enforcement because it was parked in a handicapped spot with an invalid hadicapped permit. The City of Cincinnati has the authority and does tow vehicles if they are parked improperly in a handicapped spot. The property is not responsible for vehicles parked improperly with invalid handicapped permits. Yes, you moved a dog in, and we requested documentation of the dog's breed. You told us the dog was a German Shepard, and we do not permit that breed dog. You then provided documentation that the dog was a pit bull, with the county dog registration. That is another breed that we do not permit per our pet addendum. All of your further comments must be due to these two situations, both of which I as the manager, nor the property have any control over. We are not responsible for vehicles parked improperly handicapped spots, nor are we responsible for what breed dog you have and if tha tdog is not permitted to live on the property. We regret that you are not happy as a current resident, and wish there was a solution to this. Unfortunately we have to adhere to our pet policy, and we have no control over vehicles that park improperly. Cordially, Jenn, Property Manager.

The staff at The Overlook at Clifton is pleased that you have enjoyed your time living here at our property. While we are not perfect, we do try our best to keep a clean and quite environment for our residents. We pride ourselves on a friendly atmosphere where residents get are able to become friends with their neighbors. We have many residents who have lived here five-twenty-five years because of this. We hope that all residents have seen the postive things that have been happening here in the past year. Again, we try our best to make our residents happy, and reviews like this are why we enjoy our property.

Appreciate the feedback, however we have not had any residents who resided here for three years move out in May. Also, the time reported that this "resident" resided here states 2010-2012 which is also not 3 years. Work orders are responded to typically within 24 hours unless we are waiting on a part or a contractor. We also offer a 24-hour ememergency maintenance needs. We have been working dilligently on making updates throughout the property, including a new roof, updating the interiors of the apartments, and improving off street parking. We have one of the most agressive strategies to manage the bed bug problem, which is a large problem for everyone living in Cincinnati, any resident, current or future is welcome to discuss our pest control policy.

Dear Mr. B., I appreciate your feedback and would like to address your concerns. Our community adheres to fair housing and equal housing opportunities for all, so we do not discriminate on who we rent to, and an application is done for all prospective residents. The parking by permit policy went into affect on 5/1/2012 and we are enforcing this thru Millenium Towing. We are a pet friendly building, and do understand that not everyone loves pets like the pet owner. We have made several changes regarding pet areas, and pets must be taken out the back entrance of the 700 building. I spoke to you each month when you brought your rent in, and had you let me know you were listening to dogs barking I would have happily addressed the issue with the resident respoinsible for the dogs. I did not know you were being disrupted so I could not do anything. Grounds: Per lease agreements, residents are responsible to place their trash in the dumpster. Also, if residents are moving out it is their responsibility to discard unwanted large items, or they are responsible for the charges of such. Grounds are cleaned each morning. Safety: We work closely with the City of Cincinnati District 5 Liasion Officer to help not only the community, but the neighborhood. As part of our appliaction process we conduct a criminal history of all applicants. Construction: We pride ourselves on a quite community. If a resident has a noise complaint, we do address that and take steps to keep the building quite. If we are unaware of noise complaints, as with your situation, we are unable to resolve the issue. Maintenance: You mentioned to me at 2PM that you did not have hot water at 6:30AM. There is after hours emergency maintenance to call to report these types of issues, in order for us to address them. A new boiler system was installed in December, and all residents received a rent credit, as well as a space heater for their apartment. Staff: Your apartment was left heavily soiled, floors very dirty, slime like substance in the fridge/ freezer, grease and burnt food in stove, the bathroom and kitchen floors were covered with dirt. Your drip pans were stained and needed to be replaced. Every resident receives a move out check list, and we ask that you leave the apartment clean so that we are able to return your deposit. If the apartment is not left clean, cleaning charges are deducted from your deposit. Each time you came in to pay your rent I would ask if everything was ok in your apartment, and you replied yes. If you do not let us know of troubles you are having we are completely unaware and unable to respond. I wish you would have given us the opportunity to address these matters while you lived here. It is also ironic that you told me if I did not return your deposit that you would write this negative review, but if I did return your deposit you would not write a negative review.

The new management has taken a very aggressive approach since walking in the door, including the engagement of a superior pest control company, and we have a Zero Tolerance Policy for it. If any tenant (current or prospective) would like to come and discuss it, I'd be more than happy to further explain the steps we've taken to get rid of and prevent this problem from recurring. We have one of the most proactive approaches to preventing infestations of any community in town.

We have one of the most proactive approaches to preventing infestations of any community in town. New management works closely with the District 5 Police to improve the neighborhood.
