I have to say that you will never be bored living in this building. Not only will you hear screaming at two in the morning from the bar down the street; you'll also hear the tenant above you having "relations." If you're lucky, it's all at the same time (especially when you have to get up early to go to work). All of the posts are correct. The building is noisy, the management sucks, parking is horrible, and you can smell your neighbors smoking pot while sitting in your own apartment (you'll get a contact buzz just from walking up the steps). You do get a great sized apartment for the price, though, and I will miss the layout that I had but it's just not worth it! There isn't an elevator so moving in and out is a nightmare. I only had to pay $30 to park across the street (which can be a bit hairy to cross at times), but the city blocks off the entrances at night on the weekends. So unless you have a small car, good luck trying to drive between the traffic cones. Thankfully I was never robbed at gun point and I didn't know anyone that was, but I wouldn't be surprised because of the type of people that hang around the building. The apartment was not up to any normal person's standards when I moved in. There was a giant crack in the living room window, lightbulbs were missing from fixtures, paint spatters were all over the cabinets, floors, and door handles. The place hadn't even had a professional cleaning.
