Resident 2014 - 2016

Let's start with the neighborhood and area. Several people were gunned down and killed in the two years that we spent there. The area is not safe. Lot's of heavy drug activity that people don't really try to hide. The lake looks like a polluted swamp and it smells worse than it looks. You don't want to be caught downwind from it. Next, we will move to the actual apartment. There were animals living in our walls that you can hear running around and fighting throughout the day and night. There is a huge mold problem due to ventilation issues. It is not safe to live in these apartments, but when you move in, they will just paint over the deadly spores. There is dry rot as well, so it is only a matter of time before you fall through the floor anyway. The temperature control options in the apartment are a joke. It took 30 minutes to go down 1 degree on the thermostat during the warm season. It's not safe to live in those apartments. I never had nosebleeds before, and when i lived in these apartments, i had nosebleeds, headaches, and constant nausea. Next, maintenance will take months to address your issues. Many times, they will not even fix the issue properly. They will put a band aid on it. Just like another review on here, we had a boarded up screen door because it was shattered. They just took the screen door from across the hall to put on ours and put the board on that door. Very classy... Lastly, let's address the integrity of the office staff. A lot of the more recent reviews on here are clearly fake. No one in their right mind would come on here and say that this is a good place to live. It's too dangerous and hazardous to be suitable for anyone trying to get ahead. So shame on the office staff for wasting their time on here writing fabricated reviews when they should be fixing their advertisements... because guess what... the tennis courts, swimming pool, and workout room have been decommissioned for years. When we moved in, they said they were working on getting these things back up and running. It's been two years, and still nothing. Don't be like us and fall for their irresponsible lies. Again, they should probably stay off of here and get right on that. Even if you have to get a smaller apartment for the same price, it is a better option. Yes, their bedrooms are larger, but you will be dissatisfied with everything else.
