Forest Edge has a monthly preventative pest control contract with Orkin Pest Services. It is our policy that any tenant who is found to have brought in any pest issue be responsible for the cost of extermination. Also, failure to notify our office that a pest issue has been found is a violation of our lease and is not tolerated. Upon move out we do preform an inspection and we do bill for items not removed as we are neither a moving company nor a cleaning company. Charges for these things can be found on the Rules & Regulations Addendum upon signing a lease in our community. An apartment full of items and trash left behind is in no way acceptable move out condition. It is stated in our pet policy that Management must meet and approve each pet as a condition of approval for the resident to have the pet in the community. Unfortunately we do not allow rodents, snakes and any other animal which could become loose in the community and potentially harm someone or pose an outbreak of infestation and/or damage to the property.
