Glenmuir Luxury Apartments
Resident · 2007 - 2009
Cons: I rented a one bedroom for 2 years and can't wait to get into some place bigger. I had to rent a garage because the 1 bedroom has a single closet in the hallway and that's it for storage space (couldn't afford their 2 bedroom.) This is my own fault for not noticing in the beginning, so I wanted to warn people now. The buildings are nice but I guarantee they will raise your rent every year and this shoebox is overpriced as it is, I'm not exactly sure why they call it a "luxury" apartment. Also, I have to use their laundry room which is a total rip off, the machines are tiny, cost a fortune, and usually require 2 cycles to dry a load. If you get a place here, make sure you get one with W&D hookups or laundry will become the bain of your existence. Lastly, Billingsley traffic is terrible in the mornings, it takes me 10 min. to get onto 270 every day. And getting off at Sawmill on weekday evenings is never a pleasant experience, so if you're not a fan of road rage, you might want a different location. Pros: The staff and maintenance crew are very nice, can't complain about them at all. Also, it's within walking distance to the library which is great. And it's in the Dublin school district which I'm sure is good for families. All in all, I think it's a nice and safe place to live, just not fitting for me and my needs/budget right now, I can get a bigger place for less money somewhere else.
