We've lived here for two years now and it's time to move on. Overall, we've had a decent experience. Location Great location! I like being close to shopping--Kroger, Giant Eagle, Whole Goods, Bed bath and beyond, restaurants are all nearby. I enjoyed being close to Sawmill. Lifetime Fitness is also right across the way. And, if you willing to go a few miles, you can go to the local YMCA. Lastly, excellent location right off of 270 and side streets to 315. Maintenance Usually gets to our request the same day or shortly thereafter. Originally there were two maintenance men that were awesome! There seems to be two new ones within the last year, and they are okay too. There has been a repeat though. Our AC drain was backed up twice. We've also called them out twice as our air condition was blowing air but not getting the house cooler. Our last week there, the air was out again, but, we just suffered through the week. I think it's time they replaced the AC, as their recharging technique is good for like a few weeks and then it's back to not working again. Security When we first moved here, very quiet. Over the past summer, there has been an increase in car break-ins in the parking lot. There have also been a few doors kicked in. After residents complained, police started to patrol regularly. I think with the economy, this apartment complex has a middle class population that is targeted unfortunately. Grounds The grass is always cut on a regular basis. They did some sidewalk work and repainted parking lines recently. Parking is never an issue. Even when I come home late, there has always been parking. I have noticed that geese poop is not cleaned up on a regular basis. Some owners unfortunately do not clean up after their dogs. At times people leave their trash in the parking lot (ie food containers and cups thrown in the grass). Staff There has been a turnover of staff. The first manager that was here, Diana G. was absolutely wonderful! She seemed to have a number of years of experience, and was on top of everything. When we moved in, she was great with the small details. And she encouraged tenants to beautify our patios. The new manager is younger. She is always polite. However, I don't get the sense that she really will go the extra mile like the first manager. Living Space The living space is nice. Plenty of room to live. The only downside is that there is no storage. Also, not enough closet space, and glass mirror doors are outdated and need to be replaced.
