Resident 2011 - 2012

1/29/2013

Here's my breakdown: Management: Susan is so sweet and caring. When my ex was stalking me she changed my locks for free and without hesitation. She also went immediately to my neighbor across from me and notified them to remove their trash which was causing flies to linger. She always stopped what she was doing to ask me if I needed anything and if everything was okay when I stopped in to pay my rent. She definitely works 9-5 but she waited afterhours to personally hand me my new set of keys. She stayed walking through the complex. I even saw her pick up trash! She always addressed me by name 2 bedroom garden: I loved the layout! Very spacious! Everything worked fine. When my washer broke down they removed it for me! My son had plenty of room to play. I caught a nice breeze with the windows up. Easy to clean. Neighbors: I lived in the bottom floor apartment so my upstairs neighbors were very friendly. They had two cats that my son adored. They were very considerate when it came to their music. They always checked with me regarding the music and I never had a problem with it. I could hear their vacuum, alarm clocks and the toilet flush. Occasionally, I'd hear a loud thump from their cat. All of which was not bothersome. I knew just about all of my neighbors in my building. We would all sit outside and feed the ducks together. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the sounds of love making coming from the apartment which bedroom was connected to mine. I'm scarred for life thanks to them. LOL the neighbors across from me were very trashy but they kept their mess inside their apartment for the most part. They were later evicted. Maintenance: A all around! I had small problems. Pilot light went out and was fixed within an hour of my call. Hot water would only last around ten minutes in the shower so they cranked up the hot water tank. I even called once because I couldn't get the cap back on the fire detector. A dumb as that sounds, Susan had the maintenance guy come out and fix it. I had conversations with him as well. Very friendly and accommodating. Neighborhood: Extremely quiet. Sometimes it was eerily quiet. I didn't trust it at first but most of the people living there are older. Occasional parties but they were never in my building. I didn't not enjoy the abundance of mosquitos. There were frogs as well. You could smell the skunks. What can you expect when you leave near a ton of trees. Overall, my experience has been wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone. I only moved because my job lowered my hours and I could no longer afford it. I look forward to living there again in the next two months. I recently spoke with Susan and she actually remembered me!
