When it was owned by Preferred Living the grounds were clean and staff were responsive. I also never had a billing issue when it was managed by PF. When Oakmont took over it became very frustrating. They lost my money orders (that's plural) and even when I brought them the receipts to show I paid them, they are refusing to issue me my security deposit after I moved out 2 months ago. The staff in the leasing office has changed over 3 times since August and rarely does anyone call me back when I'm trying to resolve this issue. What's more is that they are harried and don't give good customer service when I do get to speak with someone. (probably because they are dealing with a lot of complaints). Not to mention, even if they were correct in saying I owed them a portion of the rent payment, they still didn't do the simple math correctly when they subtracted it from my deposit and instead issued me a check that is a few hundred dollars short. These people don't know what they are doing and they don't care about their customers. When I went back in person to try to resolve this since I wasn't getting a call back, I noticed that the garbage is still overflowing from the trash compactor. The unit layouts are nice, but the frustrating hassle is not worth living here, especially with the high rent.
