The facilities are nice by Akron standards. The grounds and pool are nice, but the construction, appliances and carpet, walls, decks and stairwells are the most economical materials available. The leasing agent, Chris is very nice and very good to work with. After you sign the leases and pay, they unleash the orientation officer to give you a long list of rules, penalties and threats. For instance they suggest that you not wear shoes in your apartment, or it is likely you will be charged for damaging their property. I am all for someone wanting a clean, safe, harmonious apartment complex. But these folks feel that they can treat you like a subordinate and a child, not a customer. When the owner heard that I was insulted by the condescending nature of the orientation, she assumed the same attitude of the person that was offensive in the first place. Anyone considering this place should be aware that there are plans in the works to build a Super Walmart and Sam Club within a few blocks of this place in the near future. All of the traffic will be funneled right past these apartments, which may make this a much less desirable place to live in the next year or so. So between the traffic and the bad treatment, I would consider carefully before moving here.
