We have lived here since the spring of 2007. Overall, we have not had any problems, except: In the spring of 2008, we were in a bind & couldn't pay the rent until the 7th day of the month. I walk into the office to pay the rent plus the "late" fee. I was informed that they couldn't accept my rent unless I paid the current month & the next month plus an attorney fee. Yes - they had already started eviction procedure & their attorney had already filed with the court.....so, I was told. I had to do some scrabbling in order to do this, but I did. After this episode, I didn't want to renew my lease because I didn't want to be held hostage for another year while we looked for a place. The penalty for not renewing your lease is an additional $100 a month. Long story short, it took a year - but, we close on a place Monday. Our own home, our own rules - Thank God ! ! Apparently, we are not the only ones leaving. The Mrs & me walked the complex this weekend while 10-12 moving vans were parked in the parking lots. We heard a couple of them say that they weren't going to pay any %&#@ing attorney fee. We haven't had the problems that other people have written about, but we haven't complained either or live within view of the office. I think it is a nice area, close to a lot of stores & eateries. I did have stuff stolen from my car (smokes, change & a cheap radio on the seat) but, it was unlocked. At least, I saved the glass. Just pay your rent on time & you'll be fine. Signed - Home Owner
