Shadow Creek Luxury Apartments
Resident · 2010 - 2011
I lived at shadow creek for 15 months and I felt like the apartment was over priced. The walls were paper thin to the point where I could literally hear my neighbor above me urinate when in the bathroom. Other things that I didn't want to hear were: neighbors having sex, detailed conversations, televisions, and walking. For the rent they were charging, you would think they could have afforded better insulation during the construction phase. The only maintenance issue I had was the rods in the walk-in-closet. They used cheap plastic to repair them so they broke repeatedly within a month of them fixing it. The icing on the cake, which prompted a faster move, was when it was time to re-new my lease. I felt like I was being pressured into signing for another year. Management told me that my rent would remain the same if I did or would increase by $250 if I didn't! I think I would have been more accepting if I knew about possible rent increases and amounts before moving in. But...I didn't and so I moved. On a lighter note, the design of the apartment overall was nice. I enjoyed the island in the kitchen and the open floor plan. Management organized many community activities that I enjoyed attending.
