Resident • 2006 - 2007 Not Recommended
During the recent snow storm, College Towers did not plow for three days. An article appeared in the Kent Stater describing the managements response, "no comment." I would not recommend this place to any of my friends.

It is cheap. However, the first day I moved in. I found a faucet that was leaking. It took them exactly one month to the day to have someone come and look at it.

Since, the bulding is from the 70s, don't expect proper heating. My apartment has been around 60-65 the whole winter. College towers is required to funish a electric heating if you ask for it.

My appliances are from the 1970s. Yellow! I was told on the phone that I had to wait a week because they were glazing my tub and putting in new appliances. I arrived to find nothing new. The manager said we don't promise new appliances to anybody. However, the girl in the front office told me I was getting new appliances. I would recommend that you carry a voice recorder on you and preview everything! Walk the whole bulding, knock on tenants doors, look at different internet sites, look for the facebook group about college towers, this will provide you with information that you need.

They only allow one parking permit per apartment. If you have two people, the other person will have to park on university property and walk!
