My dad moved into American Village after my mom died. He loved it there. The rooms are large and the setting is like a neighborhood. He had a ground floor apartment with a grassy yard that his dog loved. After his stroke this past fall, the owners sent cards and called me every few weeks to get an update on my dad. Not because they wanted his apartment, but because they cared about him. They are wonderful people!
