    Wish we were still there!

We had to move due to a job loss, but the apartment we rented was huge, especially compared to others in the area -- 1800 sq. ft! The kitchen was small, and another bathroom would have been fantastic, but the rest of the living area, including the large finished basement made up for it. Staff was just eh, but we really didn't need them too much. The maintenance guy was great. We took great care when moving out to clean the apartment, having lived there for 2 years with 2 toddlers, but we were charged a pretty penny (on top of our deposit) for cleaning fees, which I am NOT happy about.

      Fantastic- Like your own home

I loved Harbor Ridge. We moved in from out of town and the office staff was very helpful. Our home was nice and spacious, all the fixtures, carpet, doorknobs, everything was new & they painted the unit with colors we chose. Maintenance took care of any major problems immediately and told me when I could expect minor repairs done. You have your own yard, garage, patio, and front deck. Beautiful in the summer with trees and shrubbery. I can't say enough about the place. I never had problems with mold like the previous poster, but some people will complain about everything I guess. Nice to live in a community rather than an industrial looking apartment complex.

friends don't let friends rent here

You will be very UNHAPPY here, I promise. Unless you like to ask every day for repairs that never get done, have standing water and molding floors and walls, live in fear that the 2nd floor washer and dryer will fall through the ceiling at any time and like to breath old stale moldy air every day. I just moved out and the management has still not repaired major issues that I put on my walk through report a year ago when I moved in. When I complained to the manager she was rude. When I complained to the mainentance man he told me that the owner won't let him work on my unit because they need to get empty units ready for "new residents". When I asked the owner why the empty apartments are higher priority than mine he said "we have to stay in business". When my lease was up the owner told me that he didn't want customers like me. I paid $1050 per month for an old moldy place that made me sick and I was never late with my rent. I am not sure what kind of customer… See More>

          FYI

By far I guess Harbor Ridge is better than the rest of the Maineville apartments as there are only 3 comments listed and they seem to NEVER have vacansies.

Not terrible, But would not go back

While this was not a horrible condo, I would not go back and live there again. First of all, the buildings are very old, and they are falling apart. We had a crack in our foundation, and in the basement, the ceiling looked as if it was about the break in half. Also, it did usually take a while for maintenance to assist with a problem, but they were severely understaffed in that department. The noise was horrible!! We lived in one of the 3 story floorplans, and the one next door shared an entire side of walls with us. We could hear them walking up and down the stairs, playing music, occasionally we could even hear conversations. The worst though, was the fact that the bathrooms were only seperated by a thin wall. We could actually hear our neighbors urinating through the walls. Another problem we had was with the management. Make sure that you specify that you do not want your information shared with anyone. My husband's ex girlfriend was able to get all kinds of personal information about our renting. She knew if he paid on time, and when our lease was up. I don't beleive that… See More>

              Love it!!

My husband and I moved into Harbor Ridge recently and have loved every minute of it. We moved from California to Ohio and didn't have a chance to see the apartment before we got here. The leasing manager did everything possible to have our apartment clean and ready when we arrived. We had brand new carpet and vinyl flooring. It is true that the kitchens are small and outdated but everything is functional. I have a 3 level townhome and even in the winter my energy bills were low. The leasing manager has been fabulous to work with and always wants to be sure that everything is fine with my apartment. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our decision to live at Harbor Ridge.

                Ewwww...nasty!

I lived here for barely a year, and I dreaded going home everyday that I lived there. For the price you pay in rent (I lived in a 3 bedroom, $940/month), it's definitely NOT worth it. The carpet had bleach stains EVERYWHERE upon moving in, not to mention the carpet, to begin with, was a HORRIBLE brown color. The bedrooms are TINY! I have a queen size bed, and it barely fit into my room. The washer/dryer connections are in the upstairs bathroom, which is tiny to begin with, let alone packed with a washer and dryer. The neighborhood is nasty, it looks like section 8 housing. I was embarrased to have company over. The front porch of my townhome was cracked to the foundation, not to mention there were shutters missing, paint peeling off the building, and a gutter falling down. Even though I brought all these problems to the attention of the matinence staff, they were NEVER corrected. That my be, however, because there was only ONE matinence employee, and he worked at 3 apartment complexes at the same time. The kitchen was revolting. It disgusted me to even be in it. It had very old cabinets, and… See More>
