The Village at Mayfield Apartments

I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. As a matter of fact, I work for a large company where employees are constantly looking for apartments. I always say, you don't want to live where I do! The condition of my building is very run down and dirty. The building generally smells very bad. There is one washer/dryer for 8 apts, good luck using them. The dryer is not worth putting a quarter in because it will not dry your clothes. Getting maintenance to fix something is a joke. If you are the type of person who wants to contact the leasing office everyday just to get one thing fixed, then this is the place for you! Snow removal just about does not exist and when they do plow, they plow the cars in. Upon move in, you should expect to kill 5-10 spiders a day only to have the leasing office tell you that it's normal. Terminex comes out every other Wednesday but that doesn't do much good. Parking is a nightmare on a daily basis. The only resolution given by the office is to buy a parking spot. The "billiards room" is a room with a pool table which is locked when the leasing office is closed. The cleaning job that is done to the apt prior to resident move in, is probably the worst cleaning job I've ever seen. There is pet hair mixed in with the paint on the wall because they were too lazy to clean prior to painting. The bathrooms are disguisting. Don't bring any furniture with you on your first day of move-in, dedicate that day to scrubbing, you'll need it. They also boast about how the gas bill is split 50/50, don't let them fool you. That bill is not anywhere based on your actual usage! So don't try to save money and keep your heat down, you're gonna pay regardless.

The only good thing about the place is the floor plan is nice and spacious.
