Been living in a unit for about 4 months now and I wanted out the very first month. They claim to be newly renovated and its complete bs. Sure they have nice colored floors and new carpet but the hard wood floor has waves in it. It isnt flat. Haven't been able to spend much time in the kitchen area due to a very horrible and rancid (almost dead animal) like smell coming from the refrigerator. We noticed it right away, you can smell it as soon as you enter. It was noticeable before we put in any food in the kitchen. Put in a couple maintenance requests and it hasn't been dealt with yet. The price is way too high for the quality you're getting. Hot water in the shower runs out before you're done, (10 minutes in) they painted one of the cabinets shut and I had to rip it from the wall to get it open, heat doesnt quite reach the bedrooms so they're pretty cold in winter. Windows are very drafty, we had to put up that plastic over them to keep the cold out. They dont plow or salt the parking spots or the hill entering the place so good luck. My car would not move in barely an inch of snow, as well as other people in suvs. The parking lot is slanted. Poor design on their part. I called about them shoveling the sidewalk after getting a foot of snow and they never sent anyone out. Huge safety hazard. Hope they get fined for it. Ultimately I regret choosing this place to live in. My sister and I will be out as soon as the lease is up and I cannot exoress how unhappy I am with this place. Their renovations were poorly done. There are white paint splatters all over the floor in the bathroom and they didnt clean before having us move in either. There are nicer and cheaper places to live than dover farms. Dont get sucked in by their pictures.

Thank you for your review, though I'm sorry to hear you've had so many issues at Dover Farms. We went through all open or recently closed work orders and can't seem to find any that fit your description of the smell coming from the refrigerator. We always do our best to resolve all issues in a timely manner (typically within 24-48 hours). Please resubmit a work order via Active Building so we can keep an eye out for it and track it. You can also stop by the office, give us a call at 440-582-8215, or email us at [email protected] to make sure it gets taken care of as soon as possible. We can also address any other issues you may have with your apartment as well. Regarding the snow removal, we did our best to keep up with the heavy snow that came recently. With the storm producing 1 to 1.5 inches per hour, there wasn't all that much we could do while it was snowing, but our team did what they could while it was still coming down then quickly worked to clear sidewalks and driveways once it let up. We did receive quite a bit of good feedback from residents, but if there are any areas that still need attention please let us know so we can address it as quickly as possible. We would like the opportunity to correct any outstanding issues you may be experiencing. Even if you do decide to move out once your lease is up the least we can do is make the rest of your stay with us more enjoyable.
