****PLEASE READ**** I typically do don't do this but I would like to warn anyone who plans on moving into these apartments. I was a resident for 2 years and everything was pretty okay. We moved out and are owed our security deposit-the management team is TERRIBLE! They switched to Banyan living right before we moved and every time we call to let them know we still haven't received the check (since it was issued in August) they tell us to wait another month then call back. We have been told by the manager Abdul that it has been cut and reissued multiple times but when we call in and they check the Status it says only the original has been issued and never canceled and reissued again. Adbuel never seems to be In the office and although we have called probably 15 times over the last 5 months NO ONE CAN SEE NOTES FROM OUR PREVIOUS CONVERSATION. So it is like we are starting our story all over again. Sure it is only a few hundred bucks but that is our money. We are owed it. We also have a friend who moved out in September and they owe them $900 because they charged them an extra month because they didn't review their records and note that they gave a move out notice. After fighting with the property management team they finally found the communication he sent to them stating he was moving out so they decided to reimburse him for the extra they charged-he has also had the same issue with the check not getting to him and NO ONE in the office is taking action. Again, the apartment was great but management is terrible. For the cost they charge here I would not be satisfied with paying that if I knew there was an unstable /unreliable property management team!
