I have lived at French Run for years-love the apartments-love the staff. However, several years ago. (NEP) Nationwide Energy Partners came in an replaced our thermostats(supposedly to help us save energy) and a few months later they came in and installed new water meters (which we only paid a set fee combined with our rent before) and then we had to start paying our own water bills too. This was ok for the first couple of months BUT each month after that our bills went up and up and up. Our last water and electric bill was almost $400 for one month. We are both seniors and can't understand how 2 people can use this much in electric/water. NEP has worked with us because we both have medical issues but we are going to have to move because we just can't afford to live here anymore. We were planning on staying at French Run for the rest of our lives-but now we are forced to move because of high rates that have no promise of ever stopping going up. There have been a lot of people that have already left because of this. If you have plenty of money-this is the ideal place to live though.
